Jee Choong is a film composer, music producer, and mixing engineer with over seven years of experience creating compelling scores and soundtracks that elevate storytelling.
He has co-composed with acclaimed composers such as Varqa Buehrer, contributing to films including The Long Night, Sunny Sisters, and Growing Apart, as well as producing music for top brands like Oppo China. His work has been associated with internationally recognised productions, including films that received Academy Award nominations and multiple prestigious accolades.
In addition to his film work, Jee has arranged, produced, and mixed commercial releases, such as The Tiger Year is Upon Us, which reached #1 on the domestic charts in Malaysia. His compositions feature prominently in iconic projects, including theme songs for Malaysia’s Genting Worlds theme park and Didi and Friends: The Movie. Jee’s talents have also earned him the MACP (Music Authors' Copyright Protection) award for Most Number of Plays as the lyricist for Young Hearts by Nik Qistina. He has also collaborated with renowned Drill producer Fumez the Engineer on creating a jingle for Taco Bell UK.
